The renovation of Shake Resource Learning Center, located on the campus of Vincennes University, had the primary goals of creating modern student-centered spaces and updating the building’s mechanical systems. Designing spaces that make use of flexible and agile furniture allows students to work alone, or engage in group collaboration with their fellow students. The building provides students all the resources they need with break-out collaboration rooms, computer labs, and a café. This type of learning environment has created a place where students have the ability to not only get work done, but also take a break from their day-to-day activities on campus.
